120-Day Extension for Resuscitation Credentials
In response to COVID-19 and with support from our partners at HealthStream, American Heart Association, and the American Red Cross, Kettering Health Network is granting a 120-day extension for resuscitation cards that have a recertification date of March 1 through June 30, 2020. This does not include instructor certifications.
Skills labs available now for completion of certification
The skills labs on local hospital campuses are still open for employees needing to complete the skills portion of the certification process. All employees are encouraged to try to complete recertification prior to original expiration date. However, for those who are unable, you will have up to 120 days for completion. For questions regarding use of the skills lab or concerns about meeting the extended recertification deadline, please reach out to your local nursing professional development specialist (NPDS) or submit a case to myHR.
