Geralyn Lucas Spoke at 14th Annual Ribbon of Hope Luncheon

Ribbon of Hope Speaker - Geralyn Lucas Keynote speaker Geralyn Lucas spoke at the 14th annual Ribbon of Hope luncheon hosted by the Kettering Medical Center Foundation. Her book Why I Wore Lipstick: To My Mastectomy chronicles her journey as a 27 year-old breast cancer patient. Proceeds from the luncheon support the Women’s Wellness Fund that provides free screenings and prostheses to uninsured and medically underserved individuals in our community.

This year’s event raised over $110,000. More than 12,000 women have benefited from the fund since its inception.

The Huber Heights Go Pink or Go Home Fire Truck also came out to support breast cancer awareness.
