Anissa Rice Named Kettering Behavorial’s October Employee of the Month

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Anissa Rice, who was named Kettering Behavorial Medicine Center’s October Employee of the Month! Anissa is a mental health technician.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Anissa was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:

“Anissa is always a team player and is always willing to do anything for the team, no matter how unpleasant. When there are unexpected 1:1s or someone needs to do vital signs when it is super busy, she is always willing to jump in and do the job. Today she did the vital signs for the entire unit (22 patients) and volunteered to be on the 1:1 that happened unexpectedly. She has also switched with other staff when they do not want to float units that day. She does her job with a smile and never complains. She is truly an asset to our team and she is one of the people we get excited to work with.”
