Appointments Required for COVID-19 Drive-thru Testing

Read Time: 1 min

As COVID-19 continues to spread through our communities, we are experiencing an increased demand for testing through our drive-thru locations. The demand is leading to long wait times, and sometimes traffic delays.

To help improve this experience for both our patients and our staff at the testing sites, appointments will be required for all network drive-thru testing locations effective Saturday, November 21.

These tests require an order from a health care provider, or for employees, an order from Employee Health. Once the order is obtained, patients and employees must schedule their appointments through MyChart at mychart.ketteringhealth.org. Please note that same-day appointments may not be available.

Testing criteria:

  • Kettering Health Network patients requiring pre-admission testing
  • Kettering Health Network symptomatic employees with a requisition
  • Symptomatic and non-symptomatic patients with a physician order

Testing is available at Southview Medical Center and Huber Health Center on Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
