Shannon is a staff member in registration at the Urgent Care in Beavercreek. Recently, a patient was seen for his symptoms of severe back pain. Shannon went above and beyond to provide the patient and his family with quality service and care. She asked about his previous back surgery and the surgeon that performed the surgery in the past. Shannon gave this family all of the information they needed in order to have their experience run smoothly.
Her nomination read: “Shannon is one of the most caring and compassionate people that we have ever met. Our experience with Kettering Physician Network was positive because of the compassion Shannon showed when working with our family.” The patient’s family expressed that they will continue to return to the urgent care and the specific office Shannon works in.
Along with helping this patient, Shannon took the initiative to decorate an open board in one of the patient hallways. She attracted many of the patients by putting all of the doctors and staff names on stars.
