Are you ready for an emergency? Come to the Public Safety Fair at Kettering Medical Center to learn how you can be prepared for emergencies before they happen.
The free event on October 16 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. includes:
- Emergency Vehicle Exploration: Meet first responders and learn safety tips for emergency prevention. You can also explore emergency vehicles like a fire truck, MedFlight helicopter, and K-9 Unit.
- Home Safety Panel: Ask the experts your questions about preventing emergencies and learn tips for keeping your home safe, preventing falls, and maintaining healthy habits. The panel includes an emergency medicine physician, local first responder, and home safety expert.
- Family Fun: Kids of all ages will enjoy face painting, balloon animals, a visit from Doc McStuffins, and a teddy bear clinic.
- Health Fair: Visit educational displays and get answers to your healthcare questions. Stop by for wellness information and blood pressure checks and spin the Wheel of Health!
- Cook Out: Enjoy free refreshments picnic style.
