Congratulations to Beth Routley, who was named Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center’s November Employee of the Month! Beth works in Adolescent Psych at the hospital.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Beth was nominated by two of her co-workers, and you can read the nomination stories below:
“Beth is not only one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met, but she is one of the most incredible nurses as well. She has such a contagiously bright, happy, kind, and bubbly personality. Not only that, she is so caring and sweet and takes her time talking with patients, whether that be with adults or adolescents. I can easily say that Beth makes a shift run more smoothly just because of who she naturally is as a person. I have heard from countless patients how much they enjoy her as a nurse because she takes the time to listen to them and can also make them feel better from the encouragement she provides. Beth is so deserving of a Network Star award for all that she does!”
“This past Saturday, Beth volunteered herself to come work on the Adolescent side. Beth was able to take lead of the unit with the other float nurses, assisting in admissions and discharges. Furthermore, when admissions from the previous night were submitted incorrectly, Beth took time to submit the admissions correctly so that the hospital would avoid an audit. Beth is one adult nurse who comes onto the unit every time with a smile on her face and ready to face the day. She gives the rest of us the energy to make it through the day and easily does amazing work on the adolescent side.”
