Cameos of Caring Honors Donna Barker

The 2014 Cameos of Caring have been announced! Fort Hamilton’s honoree is Donna Barker.

Donna works in the Surgery Department. Her co-workers describe her as a nurse who goes out of her way to promote a positive image. She leads by example, and provides compassionate care for her patients.

In addition to her daily RN responsibilities, Donna helps the department with payroll, assists in staff and patient scheduling, and is an integral part of the perioperative team.

  • They are recognized as role models for the profession of nursing because they encourage and motivate others by their example.
