Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Read Time: 2 mins

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Throughout this month, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team at Kettering Health will be celebrating by sharing resources every Monday of the month to highlight the impact AAPI people have had on our history, and continue to have on our lives and organization. We will also be sharing AAPI-owned businesses throughout the Dayton area to support.

As a faith-based, leading health care provider, Kettering Health has a responsibility to promote positive change within the communities we serve. Our goal is to accept and recognize people of all backgrounds, embracing and celebrating differences while unifying our workforce through service and living our God-given mission. We aim to be a model environment in which we recognize the uniqueness of each individual we serve, which helps us fulfill our commitment to improve the health of our communities.

“Billie Gold is not only the first, full-service bubble tea food truck game in town, she’s also a champion of small-business collaboration in her community. As established small-business owners Nicole and her husband Britton understand the value of connecting with fellow businesses. For example, one of Billie’s signature drinks features cold brew from Dayton favorite, Dogma, and often features vegan treats from the beloved Chef Cookie!”
