Congratulations to Cheryl Krumnauer, who was named Prestige’s August Employee of the Month. Cheryl works in Employee Health Plan
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Cheryl was nominated by a co-worker, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Cheryl is a true example of what ‘Called to Care’ represents. Whether it is her patients or her co-workers, Cheryl is friendly and approachable and genuinely cares about the people she helps. She actively listens to her patients and always addresses their needs and concerns. She often works late ot make sure patients have what they need and will spend hours on the phone with the patient, their caregivers, and their providers to ensure the patient and family are taken care of. She meets obstacles head on. There have been days when I have told her it’s time to go home, and she just smiles and says she will after she talks to just one more patient. She has a calming presence about her that handles difficult situations with grace and professionalism. She always follows through with what she says she is going to do and our department is lucky she chooses to be on our team. We recently added two new care managers to the team and Cheryl has taken them both under her wing and has been a wonderful mentor, they both are going to be fantastic care managers as a result of Cheryl’s influence. She is kind, patient, and is always thinking of new ways to help our team. The thing that stands out about Cheryl is that she is genuine in everything she does. When you speak to her, there is no doubt she cares about you.”
