The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Christine was nominated by a patient, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Christine exemplifies a standard of hard work and dedication to excellence as well as a selfless attitude and willingness to go the extra mile every day. This distinction was evident when Christine came to the rescue of the pre-employment services department. The office assistant was out ill that day and the float that would normally fill in was already in another location. Christine dropped what she was working on and came to our department to see what she could do to help. She devotedly filled in for most of the day, knowing how hard she would have to work to get caught up on her own tasks once she was through. If Christine had not made this sacrifice, we most likely would have had to cancel 16 people’s appointments for the day or ask them to return at another date to finish their requirements. Christine is the definition of a selfless team player who went out of her way to support and serve a department in need. She promotes healthy team relationships by sowing consistent and visible support to not only her own specific department, but to the entire HR team of departments. She identifies needs and works quickly, accurately, and selflessly to meet and satisfy those needs. She has a “service” attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile that reflects positively on her department and the network as a whole.”
