Cincinnati Children’s Services Offered at Kettering Health Network Locations

Together, Kettering Health Network and Cincinnati Children’s offers expanded services for our community at Kettering Health Network facilities. The following services are on the campus of Kettering Medical Center in the Physician Office Building, suite 4200:

Pediatric Heart Clinic

Elisa Marcuccio, MD, pediatric cardiologist, is accepting referrals for patients up to age 17 with suspected or diagnosed cardiovascular disease. The clinic offers examinations and consultations, diagnostic and ongoing monitoring, and follow-up examinations after surgery. Clinics are the fourth Tuesday of every month from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and they will be adding a second day this summer. Call (513) 636-4432 for questions or referrals.

Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic

Nicole Brown, MD, and Adam Lubert, MD, ACHD specialist, offer ongoing, lifelong surveillance for patients with the most complex congenital heart defects to prevent or manage complications. The clinic can transition patients from pediatric care into the program, which will follow them throughout adulthood. This clinic closely aligns with the cardiovascular service line. Cincinnati Children’s uses a co-management model that allows their team to address the specialized congenital heart disease while the referring physician, such as a cardiologist, primary health care provider, or other specialist, continues to follow patients’ other medical issues. Clinics are the first Tuesday of the month from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., with hours expanding this summer. Call (513) 803-2243 for questions, referrals, or second opinions.

Center for Better Health and Nutrition

Part of the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s, this program offers care for children age 19 and younger who are overweight or obese. This program teaches, encourages, and supports healthy lifestyle behaviors. Medical providers look for underlying cases of weight gain and obesity-related medical conditions; registered dietitians provide nutrition counseling and meal planning and exercise physiologist provide counseling on fitness, movement, and skill development. Clinics are the second Thursday of the month from 8-10:15 a.m. Call (513) 636-4305 for questions or referrals.
