Clarification Regarding Wearing of Surgical Masks and N95 Respirators

At this time, every employee and provider who comes within 6 feet of patients is being provided with either 1 surgical mask or an N95 respirator each day, depending on the extent of his/her contact with patients. Each mask is to be used for the duration of their shift. Surgical masks are to be discarded at the end of the shift. Employees and providers wearing N95 respirators should return them to the collection bin for potential resterilization.
