More than 1,000 people came together for Kettering Medical Center Foundation’s 28th annual Heart to Heart Gala on September 18.
Sponsor patrons enjoyed dinner at the Ponitz Center before attending the night’s featured event: a concert by award-winning country music artist Clint Black at the Schuster Center.
Proceeds from the evening benefit cardiovascular services at Kettering Medical Center. Through the years, $7.5 million has been invested in the cause because of this event alone. This year, the foundation is able to support a $600,000 renovation to the surgical waiting area experienced by many cardiac patients and their families as they enter Kettering Medical Center. They are also investing $250,000 from Heart to Heart gala funds in the Cardiac Rehab renovation. Because of the support from each attendee and sponsor, this year’s event netted more than $200,000 toward these projects.
