The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is continuing to be felt across our region and state as case counts increase once again.
While vaccination is highly protective, we are seeing an increasing number of cases in those who are vaccinated, including many employees. Data are showing a robust response to booster doses in preventing breakthrough cases of COVID-19.
Kettering Health strongly recommends that all eligible staff and providers receive a booster dose as soon as possible.
Eligibility for those 18 years and older is as follows:
- Moderna and Pfizer: 1 booster dose at least 6 months after the second dose
- Johnson & Johnson: 1 booster dose at least 2 months after the initial dose
