COVID-19 Clinical Trials Available

The following clinical trials are available at Kettering Health Network as of May 1.

Convalescent Plasma – Mayo Clinic Trial

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age at least 18 years
2. Lab confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19
3. Hospitalized
4. Severe disease or high risk of progression

Remdesivir Expanded Access – Gilead Pharmaceuticals (Only at Kettering Medical Center at this time)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age at least 12 years old and weighing at least 40kg
2. Hospitalized with confirmed Covid-19
3. Requiring mechanical ventilation
4. ALT < 5x upper limit of normal
5. Absence of renal or hepatic failure

Ruxolitinib (IL-6 Inhibitor) Expanded Access – Parexel

Eligibility Criteria:

1. 12 years of age or greater
2. Diagnosis of Covid-19
3. Severe disease – Respiratory rate>24, SpO2 <90% on RA, mechanical ventilation, ARDS, or multiorgan failure
4. ALT < 4x upper limit of normal
5. PLT >50k
