COVID-19 mAb Infusion Availability

Read Time: 1 min

As you are aware, the department of Health and Human Services has placed therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (i.e. REGEN-COV, bamlanivimab/etesevimab) to treat COVID-19 infection on a state-administered allocation. The Ohio Department of Health will allocate supply weekly to hospitals and health systems based on case count and supply availability.

Based on estimated allocation, current usage, and supply on hand, we regret to inform you that COVID-19 monoclonal antibodies (REGEN-COV, bamlanivimab/etesvimab) will be unavailable at freestanding emergency departments effective immediately until further notice.

Patients may receive COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatment (REGEN-COV, bamlanivimab/etesvimab) at the following facilities dependent on available supply:

Kettering Health will continue to reevaluate this decision at regular intervals and provide updates as appropriate.
