Nearly two years ago to the day, we started down a long and challenging road to protect the workforce members of Kettering Health from COVID-19. In the beginning, we had limited COVID-19 testing capabilities, remediation strategies, and care guidelines. However, the current world is now blessed with at-home testing, widespread community PCR testing, free vaccinations, and evolving treatment strategies.
Effective immediately:
- Employees are no longer required to call Employee Health for a COVID-19 test referral.
- Employees are to:
- Call Employee Health with their witnessed PCR COVID-19 test results (At home antigen test results will not be accepted for removal from work).
- Forward a copy of their PCR test result to Employee Health.
- Employee Health will assist the employee with calculating their ten day quarantine and return to work date.
- Employee Health will notify the employees leader of the documented positive COVID-19 test result and a calculated quarantine and return to work date.
