Congratulations to Cynthia Kepley, who was named Greene Memorial Hospital’s August Employee of the Month! Cynthia is a respiratory therapist at the hospital.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Cynthia was nominated by her supervisor, and you can read the nomination story below:
“I wanted to pass on a compliment given by a patient of mine. He was dreading visit for his pulmonary function test. He stated hat his experience with Cynthia, who performed the test, was the best experience he has ever had. He said she took the time to very patiently explain each test to him until he understood. Her patience and calm demeanor helped him to perform the test. He believes this because for the first time, he felt comfortable. He has been a faithful patient of Greene Memorial Hospital and stated that he would never go anywhere else. He wanted to express his gratitude and appreciation for the experience and make sure Cynthia’s boss knew how well she performed her job.”
