Kristi McCloud was having a conversation with an elderly patient when the patient told her she was unable to get in touch with the billing office at Kettering. Kristi contacted the billing office. The billing office representative called the patient and assisted her with the balances on her account. While talking to the patient, the representative learned that the patient was walking home from the drug store when Kristi stopped and offered her a ride home.
This happened on one of the hottest days in July. The patient is 86 years old, so the heat would have been hard for her to handle. What a great thing to do for someone to stop and offer them a ride home in the heat, plus follow through on a problem the person was having.
