Dennis Stephenson Named Greene Memorial Hospital’s January Employee of the Month

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Dennis Stephenson, who was named Greene Memorial Hospital’s January Employee of the Month. Dennis works in Maintenance at the hospital.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Dennis was nominated by a fellow employee, and her nomination is as follows:

“While Greene has been doing upgrading and pouring the new concrete in the dock area, it could have been a nightmare for Environmental Services, Purchasing, and the entire hospital. Dennis has worked every day to make sure the trash was removed from the dock and out to the dumpsters on the street safely. I was very concerned about evening housekeepers taking trash out to the dumpsters at night. Dennis constructed temporary trash bins that sat on the dock that he could move with a forklift. Every day during this concrete process, Dennis took care of all of the trash for the facility. He also had to unload each and every truck of supplies for the hospital at the street and bring it to the dock with the forklift.”
