Diana Horvath Named Fort Hamilton’s February Employee of the Month

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Diana Horvath, who was named Fort Hamilton’s February Employee of the Month. Diana works in Intermediate Care.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Diana was nominated by a co-worker, and you can read the nomination story below:

“Dee is one of our charge nurses on Intermediate Care but you would never know by the way she is all over the floor helping out! She is not one to sit stationary at the desk. She is always running the halls providing patient care, helping other nurses with med passes and issues, and even just stopping in to check on patients she has previously taken care of. Dee is always so friendly, and never passes an employee in the hall without asking if there is anything she can do to help us out. She is never caught without a smile and I have never seen her utter a rude or demeaning comment. The floor runs so smoothly with Dee as our leader. Thank you Dee, for all you do for the patients and staff who work alongside you.”
