Dusty Suther Named Soin’s February Employee of the Month

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Dusty Suther, who was named Soin’s February Employee of the Month. Dusty works in Core Lab.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Dusty was nominated by a co-worker, and you can read the nomination story below:

“Dusty is a phenomenal employee. She is always volunteering to work one or two extra shifts a week, and will come to work at a moment’s notice when other staff members are not able to. She is motivated, takes the initiative, and is very efficient when it comes to patient testing – all without sacrificing quality. She ensures lab results are accurate, reliable, and precise by maintaining and operating complex laboratory equipment. On the days she is working our turnaround times for getting inpatient lab results to the physicians, they are almost always at their highest.

Despite the overwhelming amount of work that everyone must do, Dusty consistently finds ways to help her co-workers. She always goes the extra mile to assist her co-workers by performing night shift lab maintenance, and other tasks before she leaves her shift to lessen the workload for the night shift staff. She is always willing to go above and beyond to help her co-workers and shows this exact same courtesy to nurses and physicians. Dusty is one of the biggest assets to the lab.”
