Congratulations to Elaine Stacy, who was named Fort Hamilton Hospital’s October Employee of the Month! Elaine works in the OR at the hospital.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Elaine was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“We are called to care in our facilities, in our communities, and in our daily lives. Elaine not only cares for her patients and their families with the utmost care and concern, but she also cares for physicians and co-workers. I have worked with her for 10 years now and unfailingly, on every weekend call she makes a beautiful, yummy breakfast for all of us to enjoy prior to and during our long call days. She also makes fresh coffee and is the first to check on you if you seem sad or out of sorts. This is definitely going above and beyond to care for all of her co-workers in a such a manner. It’s so much appreciated.”
