One of our Emergency Department physicians, Dr. Scott Balonier, was recognized by the Washington Township Fire Department for helping save a neighbor’s life. When they arrived at the patient’s home, they found Dr. Balonier performing CPR after cardiac arrest, assisted him and, after stabilization, transported the patient to Southview. A few days later the patient could walk out of the hospital. What an amazing story! We are pleased that Dr. Balonier is part of our team and provides such great care here in his own neighborhood.
