New features on the network’s website have made it easy for patients to see the potential wait time before they arrive at a network facility.
Emergency Department wait times online
Average wait times now appear for each of the network’s emergency departments.
The wait times listed online represent the average time it takes from check-in until the patient sees a provider, based on the previous hour’s wait times. Patients are prioritized according to severity of injuries, and the number of patients may affect actual wait times.
Urgent Care check-in online
Wait times are also seen on the website showing urgent care locations. Patients can reserve their spot in line, allowing them to wait at home rather than in a waiting room, until it is closer to their estimated visit time. They may also opt into text message reminders for their appointment.
