Expiring Mandatory Quarantine Program Extension

Read Time: 1 min

Throughout the COVID crisis and as we enter a period of recovery, our priority remains the safety of our employees and our patients.

The Ohio Department of Health has issued a Stay Safe Ohio order, which reopens businesses, with exceptions, and continues a stay healthy and safe at home order through May 29, 2020. The order includes a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for individuals who travel in to the State of Ohio with intent to stay. Exceptions are included for those living in Indiana or Kentucky in neighboring counties to Ohio, or travelling in to the state for critical infrastructure or healthcare workforce purposes.

The transition to reopening services is exciting. It is also a critical period for our organization as we increase both the number of patients and employees who will be entering our facilities. Due to the high rate of asymptomatic individuals within our communities, Kettering Health Network leadership has made the decision to extend the mandatory quarantine program of 14 days following travel outside the State of Ohio until May 15, 2020.

Thank you for your commitment to the safety of our patients, our teams, and our community during this important transition.
