Deb walked into her patient’s room and found the patient sobbing. The patient found out that she would not be able to have Christmas gifts for her grandchildren because she could not go to the Salvation Army to pick up the gifts. Deb saw the patient’s heart rate elevating due to her crying.
Deb contacted the Salvation Army. She was able to work it out with the Salvation Army that someone could pick up the gifts for the children.
Deb showed caring not only for her patient, but she also reached out to patient’s family.
