During the weekend of October 14, Employee Wellness Task Force sponsored the fifth annual Kettering Health Network Round Robin Basketball Tournament. Competition play took place at Spring Valley Academy from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The tournament overall had about 47 participants coming from various departments around the network. Facilities and groups represented this year included Kettering Anesthesia Associates, Kettering Medical Center CTCU, Soin Medical Center, and Kettering College. The event was also supported by the Athletic Training Services of Kettering Sports Medicine and athletic trainer Tracie Barns.
This year’s tournament winners were the black team consisting of employees from Kettering CTCU, Beavercreek and Yankee Physical Therapy, and Kettering Medical Center Internal Medicine.
The committee is looking to hold the tournament more frequently as well as expand participation in the tournament.
