Southview continues to make new moms and babies comfort a priority by providing lactation consultants, and free breastfeeding support groups, and a convenient shop for supplies and apparel.
Southview maternity offers a variety of great services for moms. “Between the First Steps Outpatient Center, breastfeeding parent support groups, and the boutique, we easily service 50 – 100 people each week,” says Belinda Masters BSN, RN, IBCLC, director of Maternity Services. “We are always seeking to understand the individual needs of those we serve while offering solutions that are unique as well as tried and true.”
The First Steps Boutique at Southview has clothing, breastfeeding supplies, and much more. The boutique opened nearly four years ago and has been growing ever since. New moms enjoy having unique baby gear and products to help breastfeeding.
