Fort Hamilton Celebrates 85 Years

Read Time: 1 min

Fort Hamilton Hospital invited the community to celebrate 85 years of health care. The hospital offered a free courtyard cookout, physician talks, and hosted a health fair with free blood pressure screenings, osteoporosis screenings and education on the effects of sun damage to the skin.

Attendees were encouraged to tour four units of the hospital: Outpatient Rehab, the Carruthers Cardiovascular Suite, the Gebhart Cancer Center, and the Center for Wound Healing.

“We at Fort Hamilton Hospital believe our 85 years of caring for the community to be the perfect foundation for building future success for generations to come,” says Marcus Romanello, MD, chief medical officer of Fort Hamilton.

The City of Hamilton and Butler County recognized the contributions of Fort Hamilton by proclaiming May “Fort Hamilton Hospital Month.”
