Carol Applegeet, MSN, RN, CNOR, NEA-BC, FAAN, is the new vice president of Patient Care for Fort Hamilton. Previously she was the administrative director of Perioperative Services for Kettering Medical Center, where she was a transformational leader in the development of their perioperative services department to its current level of excellence.
Carol has over 40 years of nursing and healthcare management experience, as a well as a deep level of professional involvement in nursing organizations, including past service as the president of the national Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
She possesses a compassionate spirit, a commitment to clinical excellence, and a demonstrated record as an agent of positive change.
