Read Time: 1 min

Liberty PointeFort Hamilton Hospital’s wound care is expanding to Liberty Township in Butler County with the opening of the Liberty Pointe Wound Care Center® at 1717 Dutchland Parkway. The center is scheduled to open Monday, December 29, 2014.

The Wound Care Center specializes in the treatment of chronic or difficult-to-heal wounds, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, and skin substitutes. A member of the Healogics™ network, the Wound Care Center employs a rigorous scientific approach to explore, test, find and develop the clinically proven methods and technologies which reintroduce the body’s innate ability to heal.

Likely candidates for treatment at the new center are those suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, radiation injuries to soft tissue and bone, compromised skin grafts and flaps, and wounds that haven’t healed within 30 days.

The center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (513) 867-3166. The center’s phone number will be (513) 645-8181 close to its opening date.
