Grandview Medical Center celebrated its 90th anniversary with their Intern & Resident Reunion Weekend, welcoming former interns and residents back to campus.
On August 13, attendees toured the hospital and enjoyed a lecture on the history of Grandview by James Laws, DO. They ended the night at the ballpark, watching the Dayton Dragons take on the South Bend Cubs.
The group came together again on August 14 for the reunion picnic at Mudlick Farm. Throughout the afternoon, they enjoyed train rides, live music, food, kids entertainment, and more family fun.
The weekend concluded with the Grandview Foundation’s annual Eagle Seekers Fundraiser and Auction, which benefits the renovation of the Resident Medical Education Building at Grandview. Attendees enjoyed dinner as well as silent and live auctions. Eagle Seekers has raised more than $130,000 so far this year.
