Grandview recently held their 56th annual medical staff holiday party, hosted by the Dayton District Academy of Osteopathic Medicine at the Dayton Art Institute. This annual event serves as a medical staff meeting, a social event with music and dancing, and a time to recognize individuals for their achievements.

Special Recognitions:
12-13-2014 GVH Holiday Gala 14GS7252 Andy Archer, DO, general surgeon and Trauma medical director for Grandview, was recognized for his leadership and service as chief of staff for the past two years. Dr. Rob Hunter will become chief of staff in 2015.

 

 

Phillip Benson, Sr. and Frederic Golf were the winners of the “Good Neighbor Award.” The Good Neighbor is an annual prize given by the Academy to citizens who participate in heroic rescue efforts. Benson and Golf halted abduction and auto theft in progress until Butler Township Police and Fire Department could respond to the scene.

????????????????????????????????????Paul Martin, DO, and Constance Ange, DO, were received “Lifetime Members” of the Dayton District Academy.

 

 

 

The American Osteopathic Association president, Robert S. Juhasz, DO, was also in attendance.
