Help Us Honor the Veterans in Our Network

Read Time: 2 mins

In honor of Veterans Day, the network would like to thank and recognize those who have served our country.

Veterans Day, originally established as Armistice Day in 1919, is held on November 11 each year. It honors the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918, when World War I ended. The name was changed to Veterans Day in 1954, and it is now a day that recognizes and honors veterans of all wars.

The network thanks and appreciates all who have served our nation. This year, we are honoring them in a few different ways:

Tribute presentation

Send us a photo of a veteran–whether it’s you or your family member–to be featured in the tribute presentation at December Town Hall meetings. Click here to complete the form and upload your photo by November 15.

Veterans status form

We hope to be able to better identify the employees to be recognized and honored on Veterans Day. If you have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces and would like to be included in these types of celebrations, click here to download the Veteran Status form. Once you complete the form, email it to employeeconnect@ketteringhealth.org or fax it to (937) 762-1199.

Meal vouchers

In honor of Veterans Day, we are offering all employees who are veterans a free lunch at one of our network cafeterias. The voucher will be redeemable for one year. To receive a meal voucher, please fill out the contact information below by November 11:
