Honoring Veterans in Our Network

Read Time: 1 min

In recognition of Veterans Day, the network would like to thank and honor those who have served and sacrificed so much to keep our country safe.

Veterans Day, originally established as Armistice Day in 1919, is held on November 11 each year. It honors the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918, when World War I ended. The name was changed to Veterans Day in 1954, and it is now a day that recognizes and honors veterans of all wars.

The network appreciates all who have served our nation. This year, we are honoring our Veterans in a couple different ways:

Submit a photo to be featured in the annual tribute slideshow in k-news later this month. Whether it’s you or a loved one who has or is currently serving in the United States Armed Forces, you can click here to complete the form and upload your photo by Friday, November 13.
