Hospital Staff, Physicians, and Care Providers Migrate to MatchMD

Read Time: 1 min

Kettering Health Network is currently deploying MatchMD as the network-approved standard for unified paging, secure messaging, and call scheduling. Once fully implemented, all clinical schedules will be entered in MatchMD to ensure proper communications.

All campus locations have migrated to the MatchMD app as of May 2018. Between now and the end of 2018, Kettering Physician Network affiliate and strategic skilled nursing facility sites will be contacted to schedule implantation and training. The target date for standardization is January 1, 2019. All clinicians are encouraged to download the MatchMD application and enter their call schedules before this date.

Previously, the public version of MatchMD has been used in many areas of the network. The Kettering Health Network version of the app will use network log-in credentials and offer some specific security programming for our network.

To download MatchMD:

  1. Open the Apple App store or Google Play store and search “MatchMD KHN”.
  2. Download the application to your mobile device.
  3. Use your badge number followed by “@ketteringhealthnetwork.org” as your login and your badge password as your MatchMD password.
  4. When prompted, click “allow” to allow notification to be sent to you by MatchMD.

Further set-up, download, and usage instructions are available on the intranet.

Please refer to the IP-KHN MOBILE DEVICE USE AND SECURITY and IP-KHN PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION (PHI) TRANSMISSION VIA ELECTRONIC MEDIA policies for details on proper use.

If you, your practice manager, or service line admin require assistance once MatchMD has been deployed at your location, please call the dedicated Kettering Health Network support line at (866) 257-5363. For network password resets, please contact Kettering Health Network iSupport at (937) 384-4500.
