Inpatient Rehab Visitor Hours

Read Time: 1 min

Many of our patients on the Inpatient Rehabilitation units have medical conditions that put them at a very high risk of becoming sick with COVID-19. In order to best protect those patients and our care teams, we will be implementing new visiting hours. Visitors will now be allowed from 1-6 p.m., with exceptions for caregiver training and certain compassionate-care situations, such as end-of-life situations. If visitors choose to come in person, they will be screened for fever and respiratory symptoms before entering.

To ensure that visitors are still able to communicate with your loved ones, we are introducing alternative methods of visitation, such as Skype and FaceTime. We will also be asking visitors to frequently clean their hands, limit their visit to a designated area within the building, and wear a mask—all to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
