Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Janelle Cook, who was named Fort Hamilton Hospital’s April Employee of the Month. Janelle is a nursing assistant at the hospital.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Janelle was nominated by a fellow employee, and her nomination is as follows:

“Janelle embodies what some would call an angel. She works super hard every single time she is here. She is compassionate, caring, and always has a beautiful, bright smile on her face big enough to be shared with her patients and co-workers. She is always willing to help all the staff members around her no matter what she is doing. If you ask her for help, she will help without hesitation. Her compassion for each patient she cares for is something you must see to believe.
