Congratulations to Jeffrey Jones, who was named the ASB’s June Employee of the Month! Jeff is a Center of Excellence Project Manager in IS.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Jeff was nominated by a manager, and you can read the nomination story below:
“I believe Jeffrey Jones deserves a Network Stars award for managing the ASB Renovation Project. Jeff was tasked with polling employees at the ASB on what renovations they felt needed to be made. He formed and met with the ASB Collaborative Task Force to establish priorities, then met with the sponsor to get approval for funds to be spent on technology enhancements, new carpeting, hardwood flooring, painting, café, and bathroom remodeling.
Jeff also helped coordinate all the employee moves that needed to take place during carpet replacement, which was no small feat. Organizing the moves for the subcontractors and their schedules, helping to facilitate the moves for all phones, desks, workstations, and chairs took a project manager with excellent organization and communication skills. Jeff truly showed he was a great person to head up this initiative to improve our employee satisfaction with the building conditions.
I must add this was not part of Jeff’s job description as an Information Systems Project Manager. Jeff was asked to help our cause at the ASB due to his skill set and acumen.”
