The weekend-long event will be held at Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church on November 8 and 9. You can find event details for each day below:
Mac Powell and the Family Reunion Concert: November 8
Former lead singer of the award-winning band, Third Day, Mac Powell is coming to town with his new group: Mac Powell and the Family Reunion. This new group brings what they describe as “a little bit of rock, a little bit of country, a little bit of gospel and a whole lot of love” to their shows. This is a free concert with seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m.
Guest Speaker Alex Bryant: November 9
Join us as we celebrate the network’s local outreach. Breakfast and outreach information booths will be available in the church’s fellowship hall at 9 a.m., and the 11 a.m. church service will feature guest speaker Alex Bryant, executive secretary for the North American Division.
Tad Worku Band Concert: November 9
Help us close out Mission Conference weekend at another free concert by the Tad Worku Band. The lead singer, Tad Worku, pursues a career in music in addition to his work as an Emergency Department nurse. Tad’s band brings an intimate experience to attendees, sharing the stories behind his songs and leading them on a soulful experience. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m.
