Todd Ayers works in Security at Fort Hamilton. He was nominated by a co-worker. His nomination reads:
A procedure in the OR was being done that required a special large mesh. The mesh that was needed was not available at the time in the facility. However, this mesh was available at a different facility. Time was of the essence because the surgery was in progress.
There were two security guards on that day. Todd went to the other facility, got the mesh and brought it back promptly. The surgery continued without a hitch.
Todd is always willing to go the extra mile for patients and staff as well. We are truly blessed to have Todd on our team.
