Congratulations to Kandice Groves, who was named Kettering Physician Network’s July Employee of the Month! Kandice works at Englewood Health Center.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Kandice was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Kandice goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care to our patients. We recently had a patient contact us who had been admitted to the hospital, and discharged four days later. The patient’s primary care physician was not in the office so Kandice called the patient back and worked for the better part of the next three hours on a Friday afternoon to set up home health care services for the patient for the weekend, which wasn’t ordered prior to discharge. The patient was very thankful.
This is nothing out of the ordinary for Kandice. She goes above and beyond over and over to make sure that our patients get outstanding quality care. Kandice is caring, compassionate and hardworking.”
