Congratulations to Ken Kleiner, who was named Kettering Medical Center’s September Employee of the Month! Ken works in Plant Maintenance at the hospital.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Ken was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Ken was able to manufacture an arm board that adapts to the X-ray table for radial access in the Cardiac Cath Lab. List price for this device is $2,300 each. Ken made four for us and even improved the design where the forearm rests. I am sure he saved the network at least $9,000 by his ingenuity! He also allows us to provide a more comfortable support for our patients!”
