Kettering Health Network hosted Hand Day on October 18 at the Hand Center at Southview Medical Center.
Procedures were available to qualifying patients without insurance who were then able to receive hand surgery free of charge.
“This day allows us to give back to those who might not otherwise be able to afford much-needed surgeries,” says hand and elbow surgeon Brent Bamberger, DO.
The goal for this year’s Hand Day was to complete 10 procedures, and the network surpassed this goal by completing 17.
