The Emergency Department at Kettering Health Network Middletown is now open. The Emergency Department houses an MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and cardiac testing that will also be available on a non-emergency, walk-in basis.
More than 3,000 community members celebrated the new facility at an open house on August 5, where they could tour the Emergency Department, enjoy family fun activities, and learn health and wellness tips. There was also live music provided by local bands Fifth Crow and You, Me & Him.
Network executives and community leaders also held a ribbon cutting for the facility on August 7.
In addition to the Emergency Department, the facility also includes a physician office building that is scheduled to open September 18. This area will house Kettering Physician Network primary care and specialty practices, including cardiology, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery.
