IBM Watson Health has named Kettering Medical Center as one of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in the country, making it the only hospital in the Dayton region and one of three hospitals in Ohio to earn this award.

This year’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals study evaluated nearly 1,000 hospitals with cardiovascular services to identify top-performing cardiovascular health hospitals in the United States, based on clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, financial performance and patient experience.

“This achievement is a demonstration of our multidisciplinary approach to patient-focused heart care,” said Sharlet Briggs, president of Kettering Medical Center. “We are honored to be recognized as one of the country’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals as it reinforces exceptional care we provide our patients.”

This is the fifth time Kettering Medical Center has earned this achievement.

Hospitals included in the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals had better outcomes while operating more efficiently and at a lower cost.
