Our new Years Ahead Health Center opened in December 2018, and we are pleased to share that they have invited the Blue Star Mothers organization to share space in the facility. The Blue Star Mothers are either retired military or have a family member that is active or retired military. This amazing group of women devotes their time, energy, and financial resources to make sure that deployed military members receive much-needed care packages.
Additionally, they hold events and give goody bags to veterans at the VA. In March, the Blue Star Mothers invited everyone who is connected with the Years Ahead Health Center to take a tour, have lunch, and pack some boxes for our troops who are deployed across the globe. Additionally, they presented the team with a beautiful plaque, thanking our network for giving them such a beautiful home.
