Congratulations to Kristina Callaway, who was named Greene Memorial Hospital’s April Employee of the Month. Kristina works in Nursing Resource.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Kristina was nominated by a co-worker, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Kristina goes over and beyond to meet the needs of all the departments when in the supervisor role. I can depend on her to respond when I need assistance in the Emergency Department. I can trust that when she is busy and cannot come right away, that she will come and make sure the problem is solved or see how she can further assist us. She is never beyond any role. She will jump in wherever needed. The other night I had a situation in which there was blood all over a restroom and the housekeeper was not able to get to it. Kristina willingly got down and scrubbed the blood off the floor and wall so that we could place the restroom back in service. It does not matter if we are in a high or low volume state, she makes herself available to all of the units and constnatly checks in to make sure we are doing OK. I truly believe she goes over and beyond for our patients, our staff, and our hospital.”
